Congratulations to Barb Terry on one year with Lamp Rynearson! After working with Lamp Rynearson as a client, Barb joined our team as a Project Advocate in the Landscape Architecture and Planning Group. Interacting with many of our team members, she learned that folks at Lamp Rynearson are deeply invested in our projects and the community. Having been at her previous organization for over 18 years, Barb was excited about the new experiences ahead but also anxious about going to a new place, meeting new people, and assuming a new position. Barb expresses how all concerns were put to rest after her first week.
“The warm welcome I received from everyone my first week is like no other first week I have experienced.”
As a Project Advocate, Barb’s role allows her to help the Landscape Architect team and our clients formulate project goals and work to achieve them together. Barb has already been involved in several projects in various stages during her first year. Experiencing this variety within her role has been rewarding and inspiring. Barb looks forward to continued growth and exploring new projects alongside clients and the Landscape Architecture Team. Echoing Lamp Rynearson’s purpose statement, Barb plans to Leave a Legacy by reaching out to the community to get involved in professional and community programs.
When she’s not reaching team goals with clients, you can find Barb enjoying her family, making memories, snow skiing, and vacationing in all 50 states, or “being walked” by her two overly energetic Labs. Congratulations, Barb, on your first fabulous year with Lamp Rynearson!
