We are the engineers for your Sanitary and Improvement District (SID) 263 Brook Park. On behalf of the SID Board, we have prepared an informational landing page to provide updates for the new playground within the park area.
Frequently Asked Questions.
The SID has engaged a contractor to replace the aging playground within the District. The SID has solicited bids, and the lowest qualified bidder (Dostals Construction) has been awarded the contract for the project.
The contractor will be working within the park closing of a portion of the trail system. Be on the lookout for signs and fencing to denote the area. They will remove the existing playground structure, swings, benches, and pavement. New playground structure, swings, benches, landscaping, and connected trail system will be constructed.
Construction is anticipated to start in the Fall of 2025.
As the temperature drops and the ground freezes towards the late fall in 2025 and through the winter into 2026 there may be little work happening in the park. The bulk of the work will restart in the spring of 2026 with an estimate opening date in Summer 2026.
