Heartwood Preserve is the ultimate mixed used development. Spanning over five hundred acres, it features neighborhoods, shopping centers, and now the new Headquarters to Valmont Structures.
Lamp Rynearson served as the civil engineer to this project. The campus is adjacent to the local greenway, therefore we worked carefully to not interrupt the flow of traffic throughout. We carefully designed the parking lot, with special consideration given to the drop off area in the front of the building. We also managed the utilities of the office spaces.
This building did face grading challenges our team had to face. There were some steep slopes to navigate, but thanks to the teamwork between Lamp Rynearson’s team and the landscape architects, the final result is a beautiful office space that shows off Valmont’s signature skills and compliments the natural setting of the campus.
