As the air has grown crisper, tinted with the scent of autumnal earthiness, it signals seasonal changes. Nature understands when it is time to progress into a new season and how to prepare to do so. 2022 has been a year of development and growth at Lamp Rynearson as we focused on executing company-wide initiatives. We got this work done as a firm by consistently thinking like futurists. We, like the seasons, look for signals of change. What has possibly lost its margin of return? What may be emerging, and how do we plan to be a part of it?
Through Purpose in Motion, our efforts to meet the goals outlined in our yearly outlook were highly successful. As a team, we delivered purposeful projects to our clients. We created a new core value around Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity, and Justice (DEIJ), launched our Legacy Design Guide for Equitability & Sustainability in projects, progressed on individual Group growth goals, and launched our groundbreaking podcast, Legacy Listening. All were accomplished in 2022 because of our community of solvers. This, indeed, was a year of Purpose in Motion!
With Thanksgiving around the corner, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for our growth and the community of solvers who are our strength and stay. While the year’s journey has not always been linear, it has been progressive. In 2022, we have maintained the course we set at the year’s onset with the support of our people, clients, and communities.
At Lamp Rynearson, we continue to look forward, understanding that as engineers, landscape architects, planners and surveyors, we are uniquely positioned to create value in tangible ways. The opportunities are endless when it comes to creating spaces and infrastructure. So, that’s where you’ll continue to find us in 2023, shaping our future with compassion through outcome-driven design and thought leadership.
With Gratitude,
Nancy Pridal, CEO/President, PE, ENV-SP
