Federal Expertise.
We have over 25 years of Federal design experience, including civil works and military projects. Our respected working relationship with USACE, design team partners, various bases’ local engineering teams have allowed us to successfully complete a variety of projects.
Our team of professionals understands that an access point’s overall layout, organization, infrastructure, and facilities define an Entry Control Facility (ECF) and puts the security, safety, and traffic flow at the forefront of every design project. We work with each facility and reviewing agency to design the right active and passive vehicle barriers, layout, and controls to meet each ECF’s function. Our mission, from concept through design, is to improve the ECF so it has sufficient capacity, controls the entry, and prevents unauthorized access while protecting security personnel.
Lamp Rynearson the importance of reliable infrastructure to a facilities mission. We have capable teams with a proven record in water distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment and stormwater evaluation, planning, and design. Our traffic engineers have completed road repair, traffic control, and realignment projects at facilities across the Midwest.
Creating a united team working together under a single contract to provide professional and efficient services from concept to completion is another way we can complete the mission of your federal project. With a single point of leadership and workflow, we bring your project from its early inception stages through its final construction phases, following all federal regulations, budget, schedule, and communication requirements. Our experience in both preparing design/build RFP bridging documents and in working with contractors on design/build projects gives Lamp Rynearson a full understanding of the process.
Accurate approach and obstruction survey data are everything to meet the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA)’s standards and guidelines. You can trust Lamp Rynearson’s surveyors, with years of experience completing approach and obstruction surveys for local airports, to be thorough and precise. Our engineers have analyzed obstruction surveys across the entire United States. As a result, you can expect high-quality deliverables from your airfield survey, from runway location and elevation verification to topographical features, airspace obstructions, approach and transitional surfaces, and any objects significant to your airport’s safety and compliance.
Understanding and following the standards set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Department of Defense (DOD) for airfield design has been part of our legacy for over 40 years. Our engineers develop designs to accommodate the most demanding aircraft handled at the airport while staying within safety regulations, scheduling requirements, and budget.
Lamp Rynearson’s survey teams are well trained in Federal requirements and procedures. With a vast amount of experience working on everything from USACE levy projects to high-security DoD facilities across the region. We have a fleet of remotely piloted vehicles and the latest survey equipment to meet the needs of each project.
Federal facilities demand safe, efficient, and economical movement of personnel and operations. Our engineers can determine what factors are needed to design for multimodal transportation and maximize that movement for all operations to respond quickly.
Lamp Rynearson’s design team is well versed in requirements for Facility Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (FRSM) projects. We work with the facility users, engineering team, and reviewing agencies to keep projects within funding and design requirements.
Planning and charrettes are key components to a successful project, making sure all stakeholders get a chance to provide input at the initial stages to assure mission success. Lamp Rynearson has vast experience in planning and charrettes for everything from individual building FRSM, ECF, and entire base-wide projects. Our experience contributes to completing Planning Charrette Reports and DD Form 1391 that map out a clear path forward.
