Reflecting on our 2024 Impact Report, I’m reminded how our core values have guided us through change, challenge, and opportunity. They shape our work, ground our impact, and define the legacy we’re building—quietly, steadily, and with purpose. The heart of that message is timeless—our actions speak louder than our intentions. Legacy isn’t built on lofty ideals alone; it’s formed through steady, purposeful work, often done away from the spotlight.
That’s what our 2024 Impact Report captures. It’s not just a document—it’s a mirror. It shows who we are when no one’s watching. It reflects the choices we make in our projects, in our partnerships, and in how we show up for one another. It affirms that legacy doesn’t begin at the end of the journey—it’s in every small decision we make today.
From paving new paths in infrastructure to elevating the communities we serve, every data point in this report is rooted in something deeper: our commitment to Building Legacy for All. It’s a living promise, one we renew every time we choose integrity over convenience, collaboration over competition, and people over ego.
This spirit also comes to life in the Season 3 launch of Legacy Listening, our storytelling series that reminds us legacy is as much about heart as it is about hard hats. In our kickoff episode, I have the privilege of joining our Corporate Communications Lead, Teddianne Vaught, to talk about the heart behind the Impact Report—and what legacy really means when you strip away buzzwords. The conversation is personal, real, and grounded in our shared purpose.

As we move ahead, I invite you to see your role in this story. Because legacy doesn’t belong to the past—or to someone else. It belongs to all of us. And every day, we have the chance to shape it.
I’m proud to be building this one with all of you.
With gratitude,
Dave McIvor
