Tea, South Dakota

Lamp Rynearson was selected as part of a team to update the Airport Layout Plan (ALP) for the Lincoln County ALP. The ALP has been submitted to the FAA for final review/approval. This project includes a joint partnership with Clark Engineering of Sioux Falls, SD. This airport has one-hundred based aircraft and many storage hangars on a small footprint area that poses many planning challenges. The Lincoln county airport serves as a reliever for aircraft traffic for the Sioux Falls airport.

The ALP update includes topographic survey of the airport, an aviation forecast, development of airfield requirements, development of a capital improvement program, and drafting of final ALP drawings for submission to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Lamp Rynearson was also selected as part of a team to design a project for improvement of the current parallel taxiway at the Lincoln County Airport. Design work included pavement thickness design, geometrics, drainage, and grading.
