Outdoor spaces are full of opportunity to explore the world around us, connect with each other, relate to our surroundings, and celebrate the unique features of the land. The Landscape Architects and Planners at Lamp Rynearson are dedicated to developing beautiful, inclusive, sustainable, and functional outdoor spaces centered around the people who use them.
You want the best for your community, and so do we. We’re here to partner with you in creating spaces that invite people out and bring people together. From urban planning and land planning to thoughtful placemaking, Lamp Rynearson is here to help you build memorable and lasting experiences.
The Power of Place.
We combine art and science to awaken the built environment, creating beautiful, functional, and sustainable spaces everyone can access and enjoy.
A well-designed streetscape helps your community display its unique identity and invite economic development, walkability, and connection. Our landscape architects and designers incorporate each community and neighborhood’s unique character, identity, and plans for the future into their streetscape, parkway, and walkway designs.
Land is a community’s most precious resource. Protecting it, developing it, and planning for its future ensures it serves its highest and best purpose for the community for years to come.
By assessing whether land meets its current zoning requirements, studying the condition and structure of the land, and evaluating the demand present in your community, our staff can help you find the right land for your project.
Our planners work in partnership with municipalities and developers to determine the best use of land-from adaptive re-use, infill development to greenfield sites. Lamp Rynearson can assist you with residential, mixed use, green and open space, commercial, and industrial development.
Our most vital communal spaces, parks give us space to explore, play, connect, relax, and celebrate together. Lamp Rynearson can help you design parks that inspire connection – from selecting equipment and shelters to ensuring your parks are accessible and walkable.
Inviting us to explore our communities and our natural surroundings, trails are our connection to each other and our world. Our landscape architecture and design teams create stunning natural, recreational, and urban trails that help people of all abilities escape into nature and connect with their communities.
What does it take to create a single place where people can live, work, and play? Our landscape architects design beautiful and sustainable urban spaces as part of a cohesive mixed-use development, creating outdoor spaces that help people find their way and come together in their everyday routines.
Trees, shrubs, grasses, and ground cover are a critical part of ensuring your outdoor space remains a welcoming, sustainable, and beautiful space. By selecting native and non-invasive plants, our landscape architects create stunning planting designs that are environmentally responsible and easy to maintain.
Certified by the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2), we are able to provide leadership in public participation through workshops, visual presentation, and scenario planning to solve the needs of our clients, local governments, and communities. Our Planners can lead immersive public engagement events like a walk audit around active transportation or support public engagements events and surveys to provide project data and solutions.
A Sustainable Design Environment.
In-house environmental experts help us mitigate impacts to wildlife, trees, and wetlands in our work.
Wetlands assessments, when done early in a project, can save a project’s budget and schedule. By determining whether a project will impact a wetland, our in-house Environmental specialists can help make changes early in a project to mitigate impacts or select an alternate location before ground is broken.
When a project requires impacts to existing trees, our in-house team can perform an assessment for the health and status of trees and make recommendations for removal and replacement that protect wildlife and conserve the environment as much as possible.
Guiding environmental services such as brownfield assessments, we help clients understand the conditions of a potential development site, mitigation needs, pollution, or water resource issues. Preliminary studies like this provide a vision for current and future land use.
