5 years ago, Senior Project Manager, Jon Shellhorn was looking to develop his career at a company where he had the freedom to explore different ideas and projects. He was leaving a large firm in search of better work/life balance. Lamp Rynearson checked all of his boxes.
Jon’s favorite project of the last year was working for the City of Leeton, MO, on their Wastewater Treatment Lagoon. During this project, he had the opportunity to explore ideas with the City that would stretch their funding, while creating a solution that would last the City well into the future.
On top of the projects he has worked on, Jon values the willingness of everyone to pitch in to make sure a project or task gets done; even if it isn’t their department.
Reflecting on his last 5 years, and looking forward to the future, Jon said, “I would love to gain a few additional key clients that our department and office could build relationships with and make Lamp Rynearson their engineer of choice.”
When he is not building relationships or working on projects that will impact communities for years, Jon can be found unwinding. Currently, a hobby that helps him to unwind is fishing. He enjoys that it is something he can do alone, or with friends for a little more adventure.
Congratulations on your 5-Year anniversary, Jon! We cannot wait to see what’s to come. #WorkHereGrowHere
