Work Here Grow Here – Melanie Jolett

It takes real passion to celebrate not only your first year at Lamp Rynearson, but a promotion within that first year. Melanie Jolett, P.E., is our new Appointed Water Services Group Leader as of January 2025. Following in the footsteps of our prior Water Leader, Tony O’Malley, Melanie ushers in a fresh energy and vision to the role. Her dedication to following our purpose – to leave a positive legacy in our communities and ourselves, has echoed throughout the whole of our Water Services Group, and beyond!

Melanie was originally interested to coming to work with Lamp Rynearson thanks to the high reputation of our Water Services Group in the Kansas City Metro Area. A reputation she will no doubt continue to spread and uphold under her leadership. Melanie has an extensive past working with Water Services and Utilities Services for the City of Kansas City, MO and at Colorado Springs Utilities.

Over the year she has spent working with us, she has more than proven her capabilities. Her favorite project she’s worked on was the City of Leeton Water System Improvements. Melanie loved making a strong, positive impact with the smaller sized city. The City of Leeton Water has expressed their genuine appreciation of the service Lamp Rynearson provided and the ability to quickly complete a project that was very needed.

Melanie has enjoyed the culture at Lamp Rynearson – taking part in our annual Shrimp Bingo party, where clients and our Community of Solvers get to socialize, play some bingo, and relax. Outside of work, Melanie is a travel bug, wanting to see as much of the world as she possibly can.

Melanie has been thriving with new role, and we couldn’t be prouder of her. Congratulations, Melanie!
