With 20 years of experience as a surveyor and an understanding of where the industry is headed, Chris Schulte chose to make a mid-career shift and accept the role of 3D Practice Lead at Lamp Rynearson. Previously using 3D scanning technology in the field and providing deliverables to clients as a survey project manager, Chris believes there’s growth opportunity and is embracing the various technology solutions.
Employee career development at Lamp Rynearson remains a focus and strength. Promoting from within for the 3D Practice Lead is an advantage for Lamp Rynearson because Chris already understands the processes in place and how to support our groups within each office. He is implementing and refining QA/QC processes for more accurate 3D deliverables to our teams and clients. From terrestrial and handheld scanners to drones and augmented reality/virtual reality solutions, Chris enjoys problem-solving and finding ways to be more efficient.
“I’m trying to provide an opportunity to think outside the box for data acquisition. Ultimately, my goal is to provide more data and a better product than we could achieve from traditional methods.”
Chris’ goal is for our 3D services to develop into everyday processes and solutions in all our projects and markets. By bringing awareness and education, he believes clients will benefit from 3D services incorporated at the beginning of the projects. With our licensed professionals and understanding the significance of accurate data collection, our clients can trust Chris and the Lamp Rynearson team to provide superior project deliverables.
