In honor of National Native American Heritage Month, we want to acknowledge that across our three offices, we operate, gather, and benefit daily on the traditional land of several tribal nations – including the Omaha, Kickapoo, Osage, Kaw/Kansas, Arapaho, Cheyenne, Ute, and Očhéthi Šakówiŋ. We seek to stand with and support the sovereignty of these Native and Indigenous people. These Indigenous tribes and nations specifically were and are the original keepers of the land we know as Nebraska, Missouri, and Colorado. We recognize the Native communities in our regions today and extend our deepest gratitude to those who have stewarded this land. We offer our respect to those in the past, present, and future.
