Kansas City, Missouri
Water main replacement is a key component in Kansas City’s Smart Infrastructure plan and Larkin Lamp Rynearson has supported the City’s strategy of replacing critical segments within the water system each year since 2014. Projects include replacing 9,000 to 13,000 lineal feet of water mains, ranging in size from 6” to 12” in diameter. Each project required survey of 5-10 sites, collection of record drawings and GIS data from the City’s records, utility notifications, participation in plan review meetings, preparation of plan and profile sets, preparation of cost opinions, easements, and preparation of traffic control plans.
