Wastewater
your.trusted.advisors.
Today more than ever, regulations for wastewater treatment are increasingly stringent. Being trusted advisors for our clients, we are relied upon to be responsive and apply practical solutions which enhance wastewater processes. Systems are designed to meet compliance needs and new generations of technology are incorporated to create more efficient processes. In addition, our team has helped clients build, own, finance and operate their own facilities.
How We Help Your Community.
Communities across America are looking to find cost-effective, long-term approaches to managing their aging wastewater infrastructure and preventing the problems that lead to basement backup and sanitary sewer overflows. Lamp Rynearson’s Wastewater Team can assist your community to efficiently manage, update, and/or upgrade your existing wastewater infrastructure and to ensure stability for years to come. In addition, as your community grows, collection systems are expanded. Our team designs and provides construction phase services for major interceptors and trunk sewers serving growth areas.
Lift stations are assets that a community may not think about until something goes wrong. A properly functioning lift station is used to pump wastewater or sewage the topography does not allow for gravity flow. When technical ability and creativity meet within the Lamp Rynearson Team, the outcome is a successful project that will serve your community for its future lift station needs.
Force mains are used to convey wastewater from a lift station to a treatment facility or higher elevation in the collection system. The Lamp Rynearson team understands that force mains can significantly reduce the size and depth of sewer lines and decrease the costs of sewer system construction.
We distinguish ourselves from the pack through our extensive history and knowledge of wastewater treatment plant infrastructure. We don’t believe in a one size fits all approach and will not come into a plant design project with any preconceived ideas of what we want to recommend. We will listen to your communities needs and demonstrate our openness to review all available technical solutions, with the intention of finding the right solution for your community.
Facility plans and preliminary engineering reports serve as an essential tool for budgeting, planning, and applying for funding for improvements to existing wastewater treatment facilities and collection systems. Our Wastewater Team has successfully completed hundreds of facility plans over the course of our 60-year history that have provided long-term improvements to serve communities for generations to come.
Inflow and infiltration is when groundwater and stormwater enter a sewer system. Collection systems can be damaged when they are forced to transport more flow than they are designed to handle. As participants in the development of the Envision™ sustainability rating system, our company understands and leads the way in long-term economic and environmental benefits. We seek to provide a holistic, realistic framework to incorporate sustainable design into wastewater projects.
Industrial pretreatment is the actual treatment of wastewater before it is discharged to the municipal sewage treatment plant. The national pretreatment program is a component of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Program. It is a cooperative effort to project water quality, protect water /wastewater infrastructure, and reduce conventional and toxic pollutant levels discharged by wastewater sources into municipal sewer systems and into the environment.
