Meeting longtime employee and Senior Project Manager, Joe Zadina at his high school career fair left an impression on Cordell Mika. Three years later he earned the Lamp Rynearson Scholarship and applied for an internship with the firm. Upon graduation, Cordell accepted the position of Project Engineer.
Over his first year with the firm, Cordell has gained valuable experience working as the main engineer on a Schmidt Trucking project.
“It’s been a unique project involving site design, building layouts, training facilities, a parking lot, and storm sewer.”
This past holiday season Cordell enjoyed the annual design group holiday party. A highly anticipated gathering put on by the design group in their area where employees from all over the office come together between Christmas and New Years and cheers to all our hard work.
“This casual holiday party was a little break from the work and a chance to bond with coworkers, a great time was had by all.”
With a passion for projects benefitting the community for future generations, Cordell looks forward to working on more education and athletic facilities projects, services Lamp Rynearson is known for. When he’s not building up his experience in civil engineering, you can find Cordell staying active at the gym, golfing, camping, and snowboarding. Congratulations on celebrating your first year with Lamp Rynearson! #WorkHereGrowHere
