Congratulations to Nathan Hack, Environmental Scientist, for one year at Lamp Rynearson.
After graduating from college, Nathan was looking for a job he was passionate about. After coming across Lamp Rynearson’s website, he immediately recognized the welcoming feel of the staff. He was impressed by projects that Lamp Rynearson has been a part of and continues to partner with.
Throughout the year, Nathan has been involved in many projects. Among his favorites is the Pioneer View trail improvements. This project included grant funding opportunities, 404 permitting, and site visits to assess stream banks. “It was a great learning experience to get out into the field,” says Nathan.
Some of his favorite memories with Lamp Rynearson thus far include playing with co-workers on the Lamp Rynearson Volleyball team, helping create the Music Sharing Group at Lamp with Jeff Spiehs, and of course the occasional free food.
Nathan is excited to see where the Environmental field is moving and for all the opportunities that will arise with Lamp Rynearson. He would like to continue growing in his career and maintaining his roots in the Omaha area!
In his free time, Nathan can be found getting outside and enjoying the elements. He enjoys playing soccer with friends, birdwatching, fishing, and, on occasion, playing the piano.
Congratulations, Nathan!
